We are back from the National Student Conference and I thought I would update you about "Share (20) & Prayer (4:3-4)."

We are now sitting at 16 contributors and $1,055! This is great.

Thanks to all who have contributed. As of this morning, we are sitting at 7 contributors and $140.

We are only a few days in and I am excited about what's happening.

I have noticed that the widget on the right side of this screen does not accurately display where we are at. So, I will do my best to keep everyone updated here as to where we stand.

Right now, we have 4 contributors and a total of $50 donated. I know we have several more who are contributing...so I am thrilled.

In thirty days, 6000 students from all over the world will movein across the street from the Christian Campus House(CCH).

And each of them needs to be connected...to God and to each other. Each of themneeds to know they are loved...by God and by each other. Each of them needs to loveand serve...God and each other.

And that's why CCH exists. To proclaim the Savior. To promote spiritual growth.And to prepare servants.

The summer months in campus ministry are dry months financially. The gifts we receivefrom churches and individuals decline. Many think we do nothing over thesummer. However, we still have Bible studies, discipleship opportunities, andplans to make and execute. Not to mention salaries to pay and lights to keepon.

Ironically enough, after a dry summer comes the fall semester. We spend more moneyin August and September than any other time of the year. We invest those fundsin connecting and building relationships with thousands of students that affectour ministry throughout the entire school year.

And this year, we are asking for your help. We would like to raise $5,000 in thenext 40 days to help us accomplish our mission on campus. And we would like tosee this happen by having 250 people share $20 with us and pray Colossians 4:3-4 forus.

While receiving a $5,000 check from an individual would be great, we want this tobe a community effort. I am going to ask all of my Facebook friends and blog readersto join in this endeavor. We are going to raise the entire $5,000 online! Hereis how you can join in:
